The episode begins with Armaan questioning Madhav about leaving his wife for Abhira. Madhav retorts, accusing Armaan of leaving his wife because of family pressure. They engage in a heated argument. Madhav suggests bringing her back for three months, but Vidya refuses, stating she cannot tolerate Abhira anymore. Ruhi reveals she had prepared divorce papers for this reason.
Vidya expresses her frustration, asking why Ruhi didn’t inform her about their marriage truth earlier. Ruhi explains that Armaan had asked her to keep it a secret, thinking she could handle the situation. Vidya apologizes and embraces Ruhi. Ruhi reassures her that she has every right to be upset, mentioning that their father is considering leaving the house because he can’t stand to see anyone suffer. Vidya wonders if she should bring Abhira back, but Ruhi believes Armaan will eventually move on and find someone who will stand by him forever.
Madhav blames the family for taking advantage of Vidya’s kindness, causing her to drift away from him. He argues that their current situation is a result of her inability to stand up for herself. Armaan questions Madhav’s decisions, to which Madhav responds, claiming that Armaan doesn’t understand their relationship. Dadi observes silently.
Abhira: I finished the assignment last night; I just need to write the name. Riya enters and says, “Get water if you want to take a bath.” Abhira replies, “Yes, of course,” and leaves. Riya notices the file and Abhira gets ready. Abhira exclaims, “I left my file here; where is it?” Dadi tells Charu to eat, stating it’s important for her to take her medicines. She expresses her concern, saying, “I’m worried.” Ruhi suggests sending Charu for counseling. Sanjay objects, “You want her to tell everything to a stranger? We are trying to keep it hidden.
If anyone finds out, we won’t be able to show our faces to anyone.” Ruhi proposes taking Charu to her counselor, mentioning the counselor’s good reputation. Charu lashes out at her, asking, “Why are you saying this? I just wanted your good. A counselor can help you.” Charu reveals her pain, “Rohit left the world, but Dev is alive. Let me be quiet if you don’t like me to talk,” and leaves. Abhira wonders if Riya misplaced her assignment. Riya hands the file to a man and receives money before he departs. Abhira yells, “Stop!” but the man leaves.
Abhira accuses her, “You sold my assignment.” Riya apologizes, “Sorry, I can’t arrange money. You are seeing the tough life here.” Abhira asserts, “I would never steal like you. I have to create a new assignment.” Ruhi cries, and Vidya consoles her. Ruhi shares, “I’m not upset. I know she’s troubled, and I want what’s best for her.” Vidya reassures her, “We understand. This is our family, and I’ll never leave it.”
Abhira hurriedly writes her papers. As she finishes, a gust of wind sweeps the papers away. She frantically gathers them up. Meanwhile, a man delivers the files to Armaan. Armaan notices the handwriting, thinking it’s Abhira’s, but sees her name struck off. He coldly dismisses the man.
Confused, the man asks if the assignment is unsatisfactory. Armaan, realizing it’s his wife’s work, sternly replies, “It belongs to my wife.” Abhira, overhearing, apologizes, “Sorry, Mam, I’m coming.” As she heads towards them, she hears other girls discussing a strict examiner.
Later, Abhira confronts Sanjay, who reveals himself as her examiner. He condescendingly asks her to address him as “Sir” and questions her reaction to having a renowned lawyer assess her assignment. When he inquires about Charu and Dev, Abhira’s frustration boils over, leading to a heated argument.
In a fit of anger, Sanjay steps on Abhira’s assignment, declaring that he will pass her only if she bows down to him and rubs her nose on the floor. Abhira, shocked, refuses, questioning his integrity. Sanjay manipulates her, reminding her of her mother’s dream, leaving Abhira torn between her principles and her mother’s aspirations.
She settles into her chair and retrieves the file. He slumps back, drawing her ire. As he rises, he harshly criticizes her, saying it’s a good thing Maasa ousted her, deeming her behavior disgusting. Abhira retorts, accusing him and Dadisa of lacking understanding for the children, likening them to jailers and their home to a prison. Armaan enters, calling out to Abhira, and Sanjay exits in a huff. Armaan and Abhira engage in a heated argument. He insists on proper behavior, to which Abhira responds by highlighting the insults and mistreatment she and her mother endured from his family.
She questions the Poddars’ supposed perfection. He tells her to live alone and storms off. Abhira breaks down in tears. Sanjay returns, stating that Abhira was disrespectful and can’t come back home. Manisha questions if there was a reason for Abhira’s behavior and if he said anything to provoke her. Armaan dismisses Sanjay’s role, saying it’s solely Abhira’s loss.
Madhav intervenes, suggesting that Sanjay might have done something to provoke her actions. Armaan accuses Madhav of siding with Abhira, but Madhav counters, accusing Armaan of neglecting his responsibility. Armaan defends himself, stating that he fulfilled his duty by sending the assignment pictures to her professor, ensuring she passes.
