The episode begins with the elderly woman calling out, “Aryan…” Abhira corrects her, explaining that this is not Shivani’s house, but her father Madhav Poddar’s residence. Madhav enters and asks about her registration work. Confused, Abhira inquires about Shivani. Madhav looks troubled and receives a call before leaving abruptly. Abhira wonders why her father is keeping secrets about Shivani from her.
Armaan returns home, aware that all the daughters-in-law will celebrate Sawan Milni the next day. Despite knowing Abhira is not fully accepted in the family, he insists she participate in the ritual, helping her set up the swing.
As Abhira changes and returns, Armaan catches sight of her but hides. Meanwhile, Abhira discovers Shivani and A’s drawing in a drawer, leaving Armaan curious about her findings. Sensing someone’s presence, Abhira searches the room, feeling relieved when she realizes Armaan isn’t there.
Elsewhere, Sanjay declares they won’t observe Sawan this year, fearing public scrutiny. However, Manisha insists they follow Dadi’s decision to uphold tradition despite the rumors. Dadi reassures them, dismissing any concerns. As they discuss, they notice Vidya’s absence and Manisha worries about her troubled state.
In another scene, Vidya, wearing her bridal dupatta, tearfully reflects on her strained relationship. She laments her husband’s emotional distance and recalls how he left her for another home. Armaan witnesses her anguish while Madhav and Abhira observe the decorated swing.
Madhav reflects on Armaan’s delayed understanding of Abhira’s simple joys and reminds him of his responsibilities as his son. Armaan apologizes and assures Abhira of his father’s care for her, acknowledging his paternal instinct towards her. Meanwhile, Vidya opens up to Armaan about her insecurities, feeling abandoned by her husband. Armaan blames himself, but Vidya consoles him, affirming his importance in her life and the significance of trust in their relationship.
Dadi warmly welcomes the guests as they arrive. The couple inquires about Armaan leaving the house, to which Dadi confidently points out Armaan’s presence, dispelling any rumors. The lady then asks about Abhira’s attendance at the function. Dadi gestures towards Abhira, inviting her to join them.
Amidst the lively atmosphere, the ladies begin to dance to the tune of “Rishton mein pyaar hai…”. Vidya watches from a distance, her expression tinged with sadness. Meanwhile, Armaan, lost in his thoughts, imagines dancing with Abhira. His performance captures everyone’s applause.
Madhav then calls out to Abhira, reminding her of her turn to prepare breakfast. Abhira starts moving furniture outside, prompting Madhav to question her actions.
Dadi interjects with a cheerful anecdote, “Just like Mahadev made a swing for Parvati in Sawan, we believe a husband’s gesture of making his wife sit on a swing signifies their love.” Manoj leads Manisha to the swing, followed by Kajal and Sanjay.
Armaan, still caught in his reverie of Abhira, hears “O morey saiyyan…” playing and is startled when Dadi calls out his name, reminding him that everyone is watching. He steps down from the swing as Madhav brings the furniture back inside.
Meanwhile, Abhira explains matter-of-factly, “This furniture is junk belonging to Shivani, someone we don’t know. We should replace it with new items.” Madhav reacts in surprise, revealing, “No, she’s Armaan’s birth mother.”
