The episode starts with Dadi waking up to the sound of music. She steps outside to find Armaan and Abhira arriving on a scooty, with everyone dancing. Dadi stops them and comments on the good start to the day. Armaan proudly announces that he and Abhira are still married and that she will stay with him as his wife, claiming it as her right. Dadi laughs, thinking it’s a joke.
Armaan insists that he will restore their marriage by putting the sindoor and mangalsutra back on Abhira and bringing her home with respect. Dadi, still amused, asks Sanjay to bring a file. Abhira holds Armaan’s hand as Dadi presents the annulment papers, declaring that their marriage is officially over.
Everyone is shocked. Madhav accuses Sanjay of creating fake papers again, but Sanjay asserts that these are real and that the fake ones were for everyone’s benefit. Madhav angrily reveals he had an accident and was in the hospital, and Sanjay didn’t inform anyone to avoid being exposed. Dadi is taken aback. Madhav calls Sanjay selfish, but Sanjay defends himself, saying he took care of Madhav in the hospital.
Armaan intervenes, stating that the annulment was necessary because their previous marriage was out of obligation, whereas their new relationship will be based on love and faith. He proposes they remarry, and everyone smiles. Armaan promises a marriage full of love and togetherness, unbreakable by anyone. Dadi sarcastically praises him and grants her blessing for a grand wedding, stating she will leave the house as she can’t bear to see Abhira become her daughter-in-law.
Armaan pleads with Dadi to accept Abhira, but she refuses and demands he choose between Abhira and herself. She declares that Armaan is no longer her grandson but belongs to Abhira. Abhira tries to explain, but Dadi shuts her down, saying Abhira has no right to speak in family matters. Abhira defends Armaan, insisting he has always acted for the family without expressing his feelings, unlike Dadi who keeps reminding him of her acceptance. She praises Vidya for providing motherly love easily.
Dadi feels unappreciated and unwanted, accusing Armaan of using the family for his gain. Armaan denies it, but Dadi demands proof, asking him to choose between her and Abhira. Armaan recalls Abhira leaving the house previously and holds her hand, signaling his choice. Dadi, feeling betrayed, congratulates Abhira on achieving her goal to rule the household and leaves.
Everyone rushes to stop Dadi, but Armaan walks out. Abhira follows, trying to console him, asserting that Dadi loves him deeply despite her actions. Dadi packs her bags, accusing Sanjay and the others of betrayal. Sanjay pleads for another chance, but Dadi, feeling deceived by his lies, refuses, stating she learned the truth through old files and expressing relief that Armaan didn’t marry Ruhi, which would have ruined the family’s reputation.
Armaan, fearing the loss of his family’s love, asks Abhira not to leave him. She reassures him and urges him to stop Dadi. He doubts his ability to convince her, believing she hates him too much to stay.
