The episode opens with Armaan and Sanjay in a heated argument over the clause in the divorce papers. Armaan firmly states that he won’t perjure himself in court tomorrow, even if it means Abhira’s studies will be delayed by three months. Dadi intervenes, urging Abhira to reconsider and remember all that Armaan has done for her. She questions whether Abhira can’t give a false testimony for his sake. With a sly smile, Dadi shifts the conversation to Abhira’s mother, prompting Abhira to remind her that she promised not to speak ill of her mother. Dadi acknowledges this but emphasizes the importance of remembering her mother’s dream. She hands Abhira a chequebook, filled with signed cheques, urging her to move on and do whatever it takes, including giving false testimony in court.
Meanwhile, Krish approaches Sanjay, offering him money. Sanjay initially mocks Krish for trying to give him money, but Krish insists, saying he should keep it safe. Sanjay cryptically warns Krish that he will soon need the money and shouldn’t come crying to him later. Krish receives a call, learning that he needs to pay fees within two days, leaving him worried.
In another scene, Ruhi prepares a sweet dish, intending to lift everyone’s spirits. Vidya joins her and suggests she could have asked for help. Ruhi explains that making the dessert is her way of finding solace and bringing smiles to everyone’s faces. She reminisces about her mother, a dedicated doctor who always put her patients first, eventually losing her life in service. Vidya comforts Ruhi, who shares her decision to focus on her family for now, putting her career on hold. She expresses her love and attachment to her family, stating that she cannot imagine leaving them. Vidya assures her that she won’t let Ruhi go anywhere.
Elsewhere, Abhira expresses her agreement with Armaan’s stance that the decision should be theirs alone. Armaan approaches her, and she falls into his arms. He suggests they sit and talk, to which she agrees. Meanwhile, Madhav falls, and Vidya rushes to care for him, showing her concern. Armaan, Abhira, and Dadi arrive, but Abhira stops Armaan from advancing, showing concern for his injury. Vidya insists that he needs medical attention, despite Madhav’s protests that he is fine.
Madhav insists, “I can manage, I’m used to being alone.” Dadi interjects, “Where do you think you’re going? You’re injured; you’ll stay here tonight.” Vidya gently guides him to lie down. Meanwhile, Abhira notices Dadi’s presence. Armaan, spotting her, questions, “What brings you here?” She requests his assistance in fetching water, and he obliges, leading her to the kitchen.
Noticing his content demeanor, she remarks, “You seem happy.” Armaan explains, “Dad has returned to mom’s room. I’ll fetch water for you.” While in the kitchen, he notices the custard bowls and searches for Abhira’s. Abhira, declining, says, “It’s fine, I’m not hungry.” Armaan insists, “You can share mine.” She politely refuses, but he insists, “I want to share it with you. Please, have a seat.”
As they settle, she reminds him, “You were going to say something.” Armaan confides, “Sanjay wanted me to lie in court, but I couldn’t. I might argue with you, but I’ll never compromise our relationship. I married you out of choice.” Abhira, feeling disheartened, counters, “This marriage is a sham. Everyone will push for our divorce.” Armaan asserts, “This is our relationship; we won’t succumb to pressure. We’ll decide when to part ways. I’m upset, but I care for you. I want you to study and build a career. I won’t resort to wrong means to fix things at home.”
Observing Dadi’s presence, Abhira breaks down and confides in Akshu. She confesses her uncertainties, wondering if Armaan will ever love her. Leafing through the diary, she reads and weeps, pondering if she’s destined for a lifetime of solitude. Reflecting on Ruhi, Dadi, and others’ remarks, she sobs, questioning her future, “What will I do tomorrow?”
