The episode begins with Madhav expressing his doubts about Armaan’s ability to maintain this relationship. Abhira retorts that Armaan had already ended his marriage with Ruhi. Madhav sarcastically asks if he should be awarded for that. Abhira feels that Armaan deserves another chance.
Madhav firmly disagrees, reminding her of all the times Armaan failed her: siding with his Dadisa, not trusting her when Vidya had issues with her, and abandoning her during Charu and Dev’s affair scandal. She recalls Armaan’s hurtful words. Madhav points out how easily Armaan was influenced by Sanjay to leave her, and how he enabled Ruhi to get the divorce papers. Abhira defends Armaan, saying he fought for her. Madhav counters, stating that Armaan still chose his family over her.
She questions whether she should become a villain and separate Armaan from his family, recognizing how important they are to him. Madhav emphasizes that Armaan’s family is his entire life, to the extent that he has lost his own sense of happiness. Dadi adamantly declares that Abhira will never be welcomed into their home. Manisha speculates that Armaan might go to Mussoorie, confess his love to Abhira, and they might even marry. Krish agrees, predicting a remarriage.
Dadi insists their marriage won’t happen. Kajal interrupts, wanting to share something important about Armaan and Abhira, but is cut off by Sanjay who urgently needs her help finding a file. She tells him to find it himself, but he insists it’s important and drags her away.
Abhira asserts that family is everything to them. Madhav agrees but stresses the importance of individual identity, noting that Armaan has been controlled by his family and needs to prove what he can do for Abhira. He fears Armaan will always choose family under pressure, as his own mother did.
Sanjay and Kajal continue arguing. She threatens to expose the truth, which would lead to serious consequences for Sanjay, including losing his license. He pleads for one more day to find Madhav, which she reluctantly grants. Madhav tells Abhira that if her mother saw the current situation, she would never have entrusted her to Armaan.
He assures her of his support, emphasizing that for their relationship to work, Armaan must take the lead and prove his commitment. Abhira agrees, acknowledging the need for change and expressing her love for Armaan, but insists that he must earn her trust.
At this moment, Armaan arrives with a mangalsutra, declaring that while they may be divorced in the eyes of the world, she will always be his wife.
He says he doesn’t know whose house she’s staying in, anyway. He rings the bell and sees Madhav. “Papa,” he exclaims. Madhav replies coldly, “I don’t know you, get out.” Armaan insists, thinking it’s a joke, “Stop joking, I want to meet my wife.” Madhav scolds him sharply. Armaan argues back. Madhav questions if he got permission from Dadisa. Armaan calls for Abhira to come out. Madhav firmly states she won’t. Armaan persists, but Madhav directs him to go to Dadisa. Finally, Madhav shuts the door. Armaan pushes it open and finds Abhira.
His face lights up and he rushes to her, sitting down and holding her hand. “I couldn’t breathe since yesterday, but now that I’ve met you, I’m better. Give me two minutes to breathe,” he says emotionally. “I’ve decided to see a doctor. I couldn’t listen to my heart and mind. You need to see a doctor too, because you love me. I’ve hurt you a lot, and you’ve fallen for me.
