The episode opens with a tense exchange between Manish and Suwarna. Suwarna pleads with Manish to understand the situation, but he is visibly upset. He expresses his disappointment, mentioning Aarohi’s past sacrifices for her sister and now feeling ashamed of her daughter’s actions.
Manish then calls for Ruhi, demanding her immediate presence. As Ruhi enters, she notices Armaan, who seems preoccupied. She hesitates, debating whether to discuss her concerns with him, considering his current state of mind.
Manish takes Ruhi to a photo of Aarohi and Neil, confronting her about her intentions regarding Armaan and Abhira’s marriage. He accuses her of breaking a promise and scolds her, causing Ruhi to break down in tears. Manish reveals that he would have supported her if she had been honest about her feelings for Armaan. He then questions her decision to marry Rohit, to which Ruhi explains that she only supported Armaan’s decision to sacrifice his love, and she never forgot her responsibilities.
Meanwhile, Armaan searches for Madhav and learns about a hostel fire incident involving Abhira. Concerned, he recalls his previous interactions with her.
Back at the celebration, Shrishti cuts the cake, and everyone joins in singing. Abhira is offered a drink, but she refuses. Despite her reluctance, she is persuaded by the girls and eventually takes a bottle. As she looks around, she locks eyes with Armaan, triggering memories of their conversations.
Ruhi, in a moment of vulnerability, confides in someone, expressing her dilemma of choosing between her love for Armaan and her past decisions. She explains her actions, admitting her mistakes with Rohit and her longing for Armaan. She pleads for guidance, unable to bear the thought of losing her love.
Armaan witnesses Abhira’s drunken behavior and realizes the depth of the situation, hinting at a potentially dramatic turn of events.
He intercepts her, questioning her choice to drink. Defiant, she retorts, demanding to know his authority. Their disagreement escalates. Elsewhere, the girls speculate about Abhira’s presence, prompting her to reveal her troubled relationship with accusations from her partner.
Feeling judged, he urges her to stop, but she rebels, seeking freedom from the suffocation she endured in his home. Ignoring his protests, she turns up the music and starts dancing. Amidst the breakup song, tension rises. Armaan’s patience snaps, and he hurls the bottle away.
The girls exit, followed by Armaan, leaving Abhira alone in her sorrow. She picks up the broken glass, cutting her finger. Meanwhile, Armaan, consumed by thoughts of her, rushes home. On his way, he encounters Manish, swerving to avoid a collision. Apologizing, he approaches Manish, who, seething with anger, strikes Armaan. Blaming him for breaking Ruhi’s heart, Manish denounces him as a deceitful man.
Armaan, remorseful, apologizes, but Manish remains unforgiving, asserting his unwavering stance against betrayal. Armaan, in a desperate attempt to justify his actions, asks Manish to empathize, challenging him to contemplate a similar situation. He pleads for punishment, seeking solace in a potential physical altercation.
Ruhi stands by, visibly upset. Manish approaches her, his tone firm. “Face the truth, Ruhi. We need to confront our problems head-on. It’s time to distance yourself from my life, to stop trying to fix things.”
Manish walks away, leaving Ruhi in tears. She speaks softly, as if to herself. “I’m sorry. Please don’t take Manish’s words to heart. He’s afraid, thinking Dadisa won’t accept our relationship. You’re so kind, and I trust you won’t let any harm come my way.”
Meanwhile, Abhira is working on an assignment when she notices a reminder. Simultaneously, Armaan also receives the same reminder. A flashback shows Armaan bringing coffee for Abhira. She tells him she needs to focus on her assignment. He advises her to be punctual, and jokingly suggests syncing their calendars to remind her about assignments. Abhira playfully pulls his nose, calling him cute, and he goes to get her coffee. The flashback ends, and Abhira, now in tears, thinks to herself.
“He’s right, I have to submit my assignment. Should I call her and remind her?” Armaan contemplates. At that moment, Abhira hears her phone ringing. She smiles at first, then her expression changes to sadness. “Why would Armaan call me, after I rejected him? I need to focus on my work.”
Vidya is distraught, and Ruhi tries to console her, saying, “I can’t fathom the depth of your pain.” Vidya, feeling the strain on their relationship, replies, “I never realized our bond was so fragile that Abhira could shatter it.” Meanwhile, Dadi approaches Armaan with urgency, informing him, “Madhav refuses to heed anyone. He’s set on leaving the house. It’s up to you now to ensure he stays.”
