The episode starts with Abhira bringing her bags downstairs. Armaan announces, “I have made a decision.” Seeing Abhira, he continues, “I am ready to marry Ruhi.” Everyone smiles, but Abhira stumbles. Armaan, worried, steps forward. Ruhi stops him and asks, “What happened? Just go to hell….” Abhira leaves.
Vidya then says, “I want the marriage to happen soon, I will prepare for it.” Manish arrives and declares, “This engagement can’t happen, I don’t want the same thing to happen to Ruhi.”
Dadi asserts, “Ruhi is my daughter-in-law, Abhira isn’t anyone.” Manish retorts, “No, she is nobody to you.” Dadi insists, “Ruhi stays here by her own will, she is ready for this marriage.” She asks Ruhi to convince Manish. Manish, however, says, “Ruhi, I won’t listen to you,” and then asks Armaan to reconsider.
“Your previous relationship has ended, and now you’re going to marry?” Dadi interjects, “Don’t say that. I can guarantee Ruhi will not behave like Abhira. Selfish and misbehaving people have no place in our house.” Manish counters, “Then why is Sanjay living in this house?”
Sanjay, furious, says, “I won’t let you get away today,” and grabs Manish’s collar. Everyone tries to intervene, but Sanjay pushes them away, causing Ruhi to fall. Manish asks if Ruhi is okay. Dadi says, “Ruhi isn’t fine at all; she was happy before you came.” Manish demands, “Who is the reason for Kajal’s tears?” An argument ensues between Manish and Dadi.
He accuses her of silencing her daughters-in-law, making them mere puppets. Dadi retorts, “You ousted your own daughter from your house.” Manish recalls Akshu and cries, “You don’t know why she left, but I chose Ruhi over my daughter.
” Dadi challenges, “Hasn’t anything similar happened in your family?” Manish responds, “Your daughters-in-law don’t use their own minds.” Dadi declares, “Yes, only my rule works here. You must agree to Armaan and Ruhi’s alliance.” Manish firmly states, “Never, I didn’t raise my daughter to live like a puppet. I won’t let her marry Armaan; she won’t be happy.”
Dadi says, “Think carefully, it will happen as I want. I swear on Rohit, I will ensure Ruhi’s happiness. Ruhi and Armaan will marry, and I will make it happen. No one can stop me.” She shouts at Manish.Manish responds, “I can bow to love, but not to pride.”
Dadi insists, “Ruhi and Armaan are right for each other.”Manish disagrees, “No.”Vidya interjects, “Abhira and Armaan…”Manish remarks, “You’ve accidentally spoken the truth.”
Ruhi declares, “I want to marry Armaan.”Manish warns, “No, it will be too late by the time you realize the truth.”Armaan adds, “Just for Ruhi’s sake.”Manish cautions Ruhi, “Think if Armaan agreed due to some compulsion.” He leaves.
Meanwhile, the broker shows Abhira a room. She inspects it and tries to negotiate the rent. The man retorts, “If the hostel is better, go there.” Abhira thinks, “Armaan knows that hostel, I don’t want to see his face.”The man demands the rent, and she points out, “This door doesn’t have a lock.”
He explains, “Staff will be coming in and out to get their things. We need money, so we’re renting it out. Just block the door with your bag, no one will come in.” He stares at her and leaves. She hears Armaan’s name.
Back home, Manish argues with Swarna. He accuses, “Armaan has wronged Ruhi and Abhira.”Swarna defends, “He is a responsible guy. Think of Ruhi’s happiness, it lies with Armaan.”
Manish counters, “She will be alone and sorrowful if she stays with him. I won’t let them marry. Her fate will be filled with tears, not happiness.”Abhira finds the cheque book and, in tears, tries to tear it. She collapses, devastated.
