The episode begins with Abhira deciding to call the person she wanted to meet. She hears Kajal and recalls Sanjay’s words, reflecting on how love often loses to family, but she feels she has neither love nor family.
Overhearing Dadi talking to Vidya and Madhav about going on a holiday for their anniversary, Vidya thinks it’s a good idea and suggests a family vacation, making Abhira happy for them. Guests congratulate Manish, and Surekha mentions seeing some guests at Rohit’s wedding. Manish questions why they were invited to their party.
Abhira accidentally bumps into Gayatri Bua, who blesses her and expresses sympathy about Abhira and Armaan’s divorce, despite being a distant relative of Armaan. Abhira retorts that if Gayatri was truly concerned, she would have called.
Gayatri explains that Kaveri Mami invited her for a special occasion. Abhira feels she shouldn’t be at the party and steps aside. Manish takes a cake for Abhira, and a dance performance begins with Charu dancing to “Roohdariyaan Tumhe Se Hai.”
Aryan and Kiara join the dance, and Armaan invites Ruhi to dance. Abhira imagines dancing with Armaan. Charu then brings out rings, and Dadi announces a surprise engagement and roka for Ruhi and Armaan. Abhira is shocked as Manish throws away the rings plate, causing worry among the guests. Manish declares that Ruhi and Armaan’s engagement will not happen, asserting that Ruhi’s respect is not so fragile and his answer remains no.
She declares, “I will get them married.” Suwarna responds, “Sorry, I want them to marry too, but you have done wrong.” Surekha interjects, “Ruhi is our daughter; you didn’t even ask us once.” Dadi adds, “Manish wasn’t ready to hear this.” Manish confirms, “Yes, Ruhi and Armaan can’t unite.” Armaan questions, “What was the need to do all this?” Dadi asks, “Do you want to marry Ruhi or not?” He replies, “Yes, but with everyone’s happiness.
I don’t want to repeat the mistake I made with Abhira.” Madhav pulls him aside. Abhira cries as Manish approaches her. She asks him not to say anything. Madhav advises Armaan to follow his heart, saying, “Maasa is determined to get you and Ruhi married. It’s your life; think about it.” Manish and Abhira overhear them. Madhav continues, “We are suffering because I listened to Maasa. Armaan, you didn’t care for anyone, and now you want me to be selfish. No, I won’t hurt them.
” Madhav asks, “Will you hurt Abhira?” Armaan responds, “I don’t know. Think about Ruhi. She does a lot for our family. Abhira left, and you are worried for her. I have no relation with Abhira.” Madhav insists, “I have seen you happy with Abhira.” Armaan dismisses it, “It was an illusion. My happiness is with my family. I’m marrying Ruhi; that’s final.” Abhira cries, and Manish looks at her.
Dadi instructs Charu to find the ring. Charu retrieves it. Manisha suggests, “We should go back home.” Dadi argues, “Then Ruhi’s engagement won’t happen.” Ruhi says, “It’s fine. Manish has always thought about me first. I can’t cheat him. I respect Dadi and didn’t think she would hurt Manish.” Armaan and Madhav enter.
Sanjay asks, “What shall we do now, Maasa?” Abhira receives a message and gets up. Manish stumbles and gets hurt. Abhira supports him, asking, “Are you much hurt? I would have broken this pot.” She assists him. Ruhi insists, “I need to talk to Manish.” Abhira takes Manish to the family. Ruhi asks, “How did you get hurt?” Manish downplays it, “It’s nothing.” She apologizes, “So sorry for the trouble.
Don’t worry; I won’t get engaged to Armaan until you agree. I will fight fate, just support me.” He glances at Abhira and then says, “Ruhi, I’m ready for your engagement with Armaan.” Ruhi thanks and hugs him. Abhira turns away and cries, then leaves. Krish brings the first aid box, and Ruhi tends to Manish’s injury.
Abhira meets the man who says, “You came late for the job interview.” She apologizes, “Sorry, I have booked a table in the restaurant.” He replies, “We will just talk here. I have to catch a flight.” Dadi announces, “We shall start the engagement ceremony.
How long will the guests wait?” Armaan suggests, “Why today? We will celebrate Manish and Suwarna’s engagement today. We can have the engagement ceremony after a week.” Dadi questions, “Why are you delaying now?”
Vidya urges Armaan to get engaged. Kajal also explains, and Manish concludes, “It doesn’t matter now.” Abhira watches. Charu brings the rings.
