The episode begins with Abhira suggesting, “Let’s move somewhere else.” Madhav firmly replies, “No, this house gives me peace. It’s the best place for us. We’re not leaving.” Abhira concedes, “Okay, but let’s at least get new furniture. We shouldn’t have to deal with a stranger’s old things.” Madhav defends, “Shivani isn’t a stranger; she’s Armaan’s biological mother.” Abhira recalls the elderly woman’s words.
Meanwhile, Dadi performs the aarti. Vidya remembers Madhav’s earlier statement. Dadi applies sindoor to Kajal and Manisha before approaching Vidya, who stops her. “I don’t want this symbol of marriage, I want my husband,” Vidya declares emotionally, as everyone watches in silence.
Krish and the others take the guests to try kachoris. Dadi expresses her concern, “I didn’t force Madhav to leave; he chose not to return home. What should I do now?” Vidya tearfully pleads, “Only you can bring him back.” Dadi promises to talk later once the guests leave, and Vidya insists, “I promise, only Madhav will fill my maang with sindoor,” before leaving.
Abhira reflects, “So, this is Armaan’s mother’s house, and he doesn’t even know.” Madhav admits, “He might feel guilty about being here, thinking he’s betraying Vidya. I feel the same.” Abhira advises him, “You’re not just a father but also a husband who loves Vidya. She needs to feel like the most important person in your life. Don’t let your past cloud your future.” She contemplates, “I’m living in Armaan’s mother’s house, trying to mend Madhav and Vidya’s relationship. I’m getting deeply involved in all this.”
Manoj expresses concern, “Our family is falling apart. We need to do something.” Dadi blames Abhira, “It’s because of her that I won’t go to get Madhav back. Abhira is handling it.” Armaan interrupts, “Enough! You should have resolved Mom and Dad’s issues earlier. It’s happening again. Don’t worry; I’ll ensure Vidya’s love triumphs. I’m going to bring Dad back.” He takes the sindoor and leaves.
Elsewhere, Ruhi showcases a beautifully decorated swing. Manish questions, “What’s all this?” Ruhi reminds him, “You forgot; everyone sets up the Sawan swing on this day.” They are pleasantly surprised and praise her efforts. Ruhi insists, “Let’s get ready. I’ll join you soon.” Surekha offers to invite someone, but Ruhi declines, “The four of us are enough for each other. Others came into our lives, and we lost our happiness. Let’s not dwell on that. Let’s get ready together.”
Madhav gazes at the drawing as Armaan enters and softly calls out, “Papa.” Madhav quickly sets the drawing aside. Armaan approaches him, saying, “I’ve come to take you home.” Abhira watches silently as Madhav and Armaan begin to argue.
“I’m tired of shouldering the blame for your problems,” Armaan asserts. “Abhira tried to mend your relationship. It’s time you take responsibility and make Vidya happy. I want to see our parents happy again.”
Madhav hesitates, conflicted. “If I go back,” he thinks, “Abhira will leave the city. None of us will ever find peace.” Aloud, he replies, “I can’t come back home.”
Armaan reminds him of his promise to Vidya, of applying sindoor to her. “It’s your decision,” Armaan says, turning to see Abhira. He notices the swing has been removed and leaves abruptly.
Abhira, resigned, begins packing Madhav’s belongings. Madhav questions her, and she responds calmly, “I’m packing for your return home. I don’t want any more complications in your marriage. I appreciate your support, but I have no family here; Vidya is waiting for you.”
“You are my family,” Madhav insists. Abhira counters, “Vidya loves you deeply. She deserves your love and commitment. I won’t be able to bear the blame if things go wrong. Please, go home.”
Madhav refuses, concerned for Abhira. “You can’t go back there,” he says firmly. “Armaan broke your trust. I won’t leave you alone.”Meanwhile, Vidya remains distraught, refusing to leave her room until Madhav returns. Dadi watches silently as emotions run high.
Later, Armaan returns home alone, disappointing everyone with the news that Madhav refused to return. Vidya breaks down, unable to face the guests without Madhav. The family members express their disappointment and frustration.
