The episode begins with Vidya placing her hand over a diya, tears streaming down her face. Armaan turns and notices her emotional state. Dadi exclaims, “Madhav…” Everyone’s faces light up with joy as they see him. Vidya playfully says to Armaan, “You were joking, right? I’ll pull your ears!” She hugs him warmly. In his thoughts, Armaan regrets, “Sorry Abhira, you’re feeling alone again.”
Dadi speaks emotionally, “A son must return home.” Madhav proudly announces, “I have returned home, with my daughter.” He introduces Abhira to everyone. Armaan rushes over and embraces Abhira tightly. “You’ve come back and brought Dad along! Thank you so much,” he says with gratitude. “I won’t let you go again. I’ll earn back your trust.” Abhira replies softly, “I’ve decided to give our relationship another chance.”
Krish begins to play the dhol, setting a celebratory mood. Armaan joyously lifts Abhira and they dance together. Suddenly, Armaan snaps out of his daydream. Madhav urges Dadi to welcome Abhira and him. Dadi hesitates, muttering, “This girl…” Armaan takes the aarti plate and walks towards Abhira, but slips on the stairs, almost falling towards her.
In the moment, sindoor fills Abhira’s maang (forehead parting). Abhira recoils and wipes off the sindoor. Manisha remarks, “It’s the color of true love; it won’t easily fade.” Armaan pleads, “Abhira, please stop. You’ll hurt yourself.” Dadi intervenes sternly, “Abhira and Armaan are estranged. She has no place here. Why did you bring her?”
Madhav spots Sanjay and Kajal and explains, “Abhira brought me back here. I returned for her sake. Please thank her and welcome her home.” Dadi remains firm, “Never.” Abhira asserts, “I didn’t come back for this house; I came for Papa. I’ve made up my mind; I’ll stay in the outhouse.” Dadi asserts her authority, “I make the decisions here.
” Madhav expresses his discontent, “I didn’t want to come back. We were content there, with peace and respect.” Vidya pleads tearfully, “No, don’t leave. Please stop him, Dadi, for my sake.” Dadi deliberates briefly and relents, “For Vidya’s sake, I’ll tolerate Abhira, but she stays in the outhouse.” She tosses the keys to Abhira, who catches them as Armaan watches on, conflicted.
Armaan says, “You’re welcome. Abhira brought your son home. You were about to make another mistake, and I saved you.”
Dadi responds, “Humans make mistakes. I am the pillar of this house, and I only bestow kindness. I am doing a favor for this girl.”Madhav replies, “Thank you for the favor. I will stay with Abhira in the outhouse; I can’t leave her alone.”
Vidya asks, “Will you break our family and our marriage for Abhira?”Madhav retorts, “I could ask you the same. Is Maasa everything to you? If you want to support me, come with me. You’ve always tried to be Maasa’s good daughter-in-law. The day you have the courage to be my wife, let me know.”
Armaan thinks, “It’s good Abhira will stay here. I hope her heart turns towards me.” Dadi looks on.Madhav and Abhira head to the outhouse. Madhav says, “We can leave if you want.”Abhira responds, “Will we break Vidya’s heart? Stop repeating your mistakes. I came here because of you. Focus on your marriage.”
Madhav says, “Maasa scolded us at the door.”Abhira replies, “I will make my career soon.”Madhav says, “We were happy in our small house, but we’ve started fighting here.”Abhira says, “Don’t fight. Make some food for me. I’m hungry.”
Madhav refuses, “It’s your turn.”Abhira says, “I got tired of eating burnt food.”Madhav says, “Fine, I’ll make noodles. You have to eat it.”He agrees, “Noodles are good.”
Abhira thinks of Akshu. Madhav says, “You miss your mum.”She hugs him. Madhav says, “She must be wondering what you’re doing in this house.”
Abhira replies, “She’s shaping you to be like her. Go and change. I’ll make noodles.”Madhav leaves, and Abhira says to herself, “I’ll leave this house once Madhav and Vidya’s issues are resolved.”
Manisha, Manoj, and the kids dance and thank Charu for inviting Abhira. They discuss Armaan and Abhira.Madhav says to Abhira, “I’m going. Message me if you need anything important.”Abhira responds, “Okay.”
Madhav sees Vidya at the door and leaves. Armaan looks out the window, sees Abhira, and smiles. Tum ho….plays. Abhira sees him and shuts her window.Armaan says, “There are mosquitoes because of the rain. I’ll keep a mosquito coil and bat.”
He knocks on Abhira’s door and calls out. He coughs from the smoke and turns. Abhira falls into his arms, holding a lantern. He removes the dupatta from her face. She pushes him away.Armaan says, “I just came to give this. Relax, I’m leaving.”He leaves, and Abhira shuts the door, crying as she thinks of him and Ruhi.
