The episode begins with Abhira refusing assistance, prompting Dadi to comment that pride doesn’t suit girls. Abhira retorts that she learned this pride from someone it does suit. Later that night, while Abhira is walking along the road, Armaan appears and lifts her in his arms to save her from stepping on broken glass.
He expresses concern, saying she could have been hurt. Abhira, indifferent, asks why he cares, emphasizing that she’s neither his wife nor his friend. She demands to know why he keeps scolding and saving her, insisting he knows the reason and should tell her.
Armaan suddenly wakes from sleep, haunted by Abhira’s words. Ruhi greets him and asks if he’s okay, explaining that her sudden appearance startled him. She apologizes for both today and yesterday, offering him a rose. She acknowledges his anger towards Abhira was justified given the circumstances.
Meanwhile, Abhira is on the phone, negotiating for a job and discussing the cancellation of resort bookings and kitchen repairs with Kipling. Determined, she decides to visit the Poddar house, believing she has no other choice. Reflecting on Armaan and Manish’s words, she steels herself.
Ruhi, addressing Armaan, argues that while Abhira is no longer part of their household, they still share a connection with her and suggests they should relieve her from her job. Armaan is taken aback by the suggestion. Ruhi explains that Abhira aspires to become a lawyer to fulfill her mother’s dream and needs time for job interviews. She suggests they can provide financial support to help Abhira focus on her goals.
Abhira arrives home and confidently declares, “I will bravely face all this.” She sees Dadi and greets her. Dadi remarks, “It’s 10am, you won’t change. Start the mehendi preparations.” Abhira shows the items and jokes about them. She apologizes, “All these things are for the mehendi. We will play sack race, lemon spoon race, it will be a lot of fun.
” Ruhi arrives and exclaims, “I love the games! We will play the three-legged race.” Abhira agrees, “Yes, we will play.” Dadi leaves, and Ruhi reminisces about her childhood. Abhira expresses her happiness, “I’m really happy that you liked my idea.” Ruhi, however, notices something, “But you aren’t happy with whatever is happening.
” Abhira wonders if Ruhi knows about her feelings for Armaan. Ruhi says, “I know you are doing this job out of necessity. You don’t need to do this. Take this cheque; it will help you until you find a job.” Abhira refuses, “I can fulfill my dream, but my pride will be compromised. I can’t tolerate this.” Ruhi thinks, “Armaan said the same thing.” Abhira tells her, “Go and get ready for the mehendi. I can’t take this money.”
Meanwhile, Vidya is worried, “Madhav isn’t answering. I will call the SP.” Armaan collides with her and checks her phone. He asks, “Why are you calling the SP?” She replies, “Your dad isn’t answering.” Armaan assures her, “I will talk to dad.” She reminds him, “You have to get Mauli for Ruhi for the mehendi.
” He nods, “I remember, I will get it.” She blesses him, and he leaves. Ruhi goes to Sanjay’s house and apologizes, “We all want you to come to the wedding. Will this deep relationship end due to one incident? Will you upset Dadi?”
During the mehendi preparations, Abhira is jumping in a sack when Armaan arrives and asks, “Did you get hurt?” She replies, “Thanks, if you weren’t there…”
He reassures her, “I’m always with you.” She thanks him, and he adds, “I would have helped any girl.” They start to argue. Vidya does Armaan’s aarti and blesses him. Dadi inquires, “Where is Ruhi?” Vidya answers, “She will be coming.” Ruhi arrives, singing “Saiyyan dil me aana re…” and dances with Armaan. Abhira imagines dancing with him too. Manisha holds Abhira, and Krish approaches her.
Abhira excuses herself, “I have to talk to the choreographer.” She leaves and talks to her scooter. Armaan arrives, opening the car door for her. He asks, “How did you come here, and where are you going?” He insists, “Maa asked me to get Mauli from the temple, sit.” She reluctantly sits in the car. Ruhi says, “I will get mehendi applied by only Armaan. Sorry, Charu.” She wonders, “Where are Armaan and Abhira?”
On the way, a guy passes by on a bike, causing Armaan to stop the car. He and Abhira momentarily hold each other before she pulls away. He asks, “Are you okay?” They arrive at the temple, and Armaan says, “Pandit will give the Mauli.
” A boy jumps to ring the bell, and Armaan recalls, “I used to do this in childhood.” He smiles and lifts the boy, allowing him to ring the bell. They both smile. The pandit ties the mauli to Abhira’s wrist, but she doesn’t notice.
