The episode begins with Abhira cautioning Vidya to be careful. Suddenly, Vidya tries to get up but stumbles back, injuring herself. She faints, and Abhira quickly springs into action, calling for a servant to fetch water and urgently summon the doctor. With care, Abhira moves Vidya to a nearby room, where Armaan arrives just in time to assist.
Abhira, overwhelmed with concern, confides in Armaan, “I tried so hard, Armaan…” He reassures her, his hands deftly tying knots in his shirt. “When we were kids, Mom used to do this,” he explains, “she believed in the power of these knots to bring us comfort during illness. I hope it works for Vidya.” Armaan insists Abhira leave Vidya’s care to him as the doctor arrives and assures them that Vidya will be alright.
Later, as Vidya regains consciousness, she notices the knots in Armaan’s shirt and coat. Distressed, she refuses water and medicine, instead urging Armaan to stop his father, Madhav, from embarking on a dangerous mission. “His life is in danger,” she implores, “you must stop him.” Armaan gently reminds her of their father’s dedication to duty, but Vidya insists, “Abhira comes first for him now.”
Meanwhile, Surekha and Ruhi discuss family matters, trying to keep worries at bay. They decide to watch a movie together, but their peace is interrupted when an unknown person forcefully pushes open their door.
Back at Vidya’s side, Armaan expresses gratitude to Abhira for her quick thinking in saving Vidya. Overwhelmed with emotion, Abhira reveals, “I think of her as my own mother.” Just then, unexpected visitors arrive with urgent news about house papers, leading to tension in the household. Surekha hesitates to involve Manish, wanting him to enjoy his vacation, while Ruhi takes charge of the situation.
In another part of the house, Abhira, lost in thought, accidentally collides with Dadi. Misunderstandings escalate as Dadi accuses Abhira of sinister motives, but Armaan intervenes, defending Abhira’s actions and revealing her heroic act of saving Vidya’s life. The family is taken aback, realizing their misjudgment.
Amidst the turmoil, Madhav rushes in, concerned about Vidya’s injury. As tensions simmer, Vidya confirms Abhira’s innocence, and Armaan demands the family apologize to her. The children express their gratitude towards Abhira, and Armaan apologizes on behalf of the family, facing Dadi’s disapproval.
The episode concludes with Madhav entering the scene, anxious for Vidya’s well-being, as the family confronts their prejudices and bonds are tested in unforeseen ways.
She asks, “Are you avoiding meeting Vidya because of Dadi?” Madhav replies, “My mother wants me to appear weak. If I go directly to Vidya, she’ll manipulate the situation to bring me back home. I’ll find another way to meet her.” Curious, she asks, “What other way?” Meanwhile, Armaan finds solace in Abhira’s embrace.
Madhav stealthily enters the room through a window, aided by Abhira. Armaan witnesses this and confronts Abhira downstairs. “I’m here now, you can leave. Dad got emotional; he needs time,” he tells her. She defends, “He loves Vidya,” to which he skeptically responds, “I doubt that.” “He struggles to express his emotions,” she explains. Perplexed, he asks, “Why did he sneak in like a thief?” She argues, “Dadi would have used his concern for Vidya against him; we’re all pawns in her game.” Reflecting, he acknowledges, “Dad has done the same to us.” “I’m glad he stopped me,” she admits.
“Stay happy with me,” Armaan implores. “Our happiness is just an illusion; lies can’t endure,” she counters. Meanwhile, Madhav descends on a ladder, Armaan lending him a helping hand. In the morning, Madhav urges Abhira to have breakfast, only to find the door locked. Frustrated, he pleads, “I can’t let you jeopardize yourself for me. Think of Vidya.” He bangs on the door, urging her, “Everyone has responsibilities. We must keep our personal lives separate. Understand that.” Realizing his point, she unlocks the door and embraces him. “Promise me you’ll return,” she implores tearfully as he promises and departs.
Vidya arrives, calling out to Madhav. Abhira confesses, “I tried to stop him. I locked the door.” Vidya accuses, “You let him go. He’s sacrificing for you. He’s estranged from his family because of you. You failed as a daughter.” Heartbroken, she departs in tears.
