The episode begins with Abhira in tears, staring at a picture of Akshu. People around her whisper comments. The lawyer approaches and apologizes, informing her that her bar association license has been suspended and her card will be confiscated until the matter is resolved. Desperate, Abhira pleads, “No, please, give me back my card. I didn’t do anything wrong. Trust me, I will prove my innocence.” Armaan arrives, looking shocked. The official instructs Abhira to cooperate. Armaan intervenes, and in the commotion, the card gets torn. He tries to calm her down, but she pushes him away, angry and hurt.
Armaan tries to apologize, but she scolds him, “Fix everything? Then go and bring my mumma back. I had to marry you and live in your house. When I left, I had nothing—no money, no job—because of your family. My life is a mess because of you.” Armaan continues to apologize, but Abhira snaps, “I wish you had never come to Mussoorie that day. My mumma and my dreams would still be alive.” She storms off.
Armaan reflects, “Abhira always cared for me, but I blamed her and didn’t listen. I must fulfill my duty.” Surekha is concerned, “What, Armaan will fight our case? If Manish finds out…” Ruhi reassures her, “We have no choice. We don’t have the house papers, and Armaan is a good lawyer. Don’t worry, I won’t fall for him again. He’s doing this for Abhira’s sake.”
Armaan demands to speak to the judge and passionately defends Abhira over the phone, “If I prove her innocence, will you listen to me? Okay.” Meanwhile, Abhira tries to talk to the judge, but the guard refuses, fearing for his job.
Armaan goes to Sandeep, asking for CCTV footage, emphasizing that someone’s career is at stake. Abhira arrives shortly after, but Sandeep dismisses her, demanding police permission. The reporters accuse her of bribing the judge, tarnishing her reputation further.
In court, Armaan retrieves the bribe money and CCTV footage. Dadi blesses Sanjay for winning many cases, but the mood shifts when Manisha informs them about the bribery allegations against Abhira. Dadi hands a toffee to Sanjay, but Armaan interrupts, returning the bribe money he found and denouncing Sanjay.
Armaan confronts Sanjay, “Why should I value him? If this is about Abhira…” Sanjay denies involvement, but Armaan insists, showing CCTV footage of Sanjay bribing a peon. The argument escalates as Armaan defends Abhira’s honor, declaring, “She was going to fight her first case, but you ruined it. She lost her bar association card because of you.”
Sanjay remains defiant, but Armaan is resolute, “She is my wife, my heart, my everything. You will pay for your mistake. You will hold a press conference and admit your crime.” Sanjay refuses, prompting Armaan to threaten resignation from the Poddar firm.
Dadi tries to mediate, but Armaan stands firm, “Everyone must yield to love. This is my resignation letter.” The room is shocked into silence.
