The episode begins with Madhav observing Armaan and Abhira’s concern for each other, predicting that they will soon develop romantic feelings. Ruhi and Dadi watch them silently. Abhira reminisces about Armaan, while Vidya reassures her that their relationship troubles are not her fault.
Armaan confesses to creating a rift between Vidya and Abhira but is comforted by Vidya, who blames his father instead. Despite Armaan’s denial, Vidya insists that his intentions in bringing Abhira back are questionable. She warns him against repeating his father’s mistakes, especially after marrying Abhira, affirming that their family must be his top priority.
Meanwhile, Manisha confronts Abhira, accusing her of being a gold digger and advising her to show more greed if she truly is one. Abhira dismisses her, asserting her indifference to such accusations. Manisha then suggests that Abhira has returned to salvage Madhav and Vidya’s marriage, which Abhira brushes off. Dadi recalls Kajal’s words and expresses her belief that Armaan will fall in love with Abhira, claiming that men tend to give their hearts to those they support.
Ruhi disagrees, stating that modern men seek equal partners, not just supporters. Dadi, however, remains adamant, convinced of Abhira’s determination to keep Armaan by her side. As Abhira prays, Ruhi provocatively challenges Dadi, who decides that Abhira will be banished from the family, thus ending her relationship with Armaan.
Swarna sobs, convinced that Manish is still upset with her. As she wallows in despair, Manish approaches and tenderly offers her a kerchief. He pulls her into a comforting embrace. Swarna, struggling to contain her emotions, chides him, “You should have considered this before.” She confesses her efforts to deter Ruhi after learning about Armaan, but Ruhi remained steadfast, believing Armaan to be her source of happiness.
Understanding her turmoil, Manish nods empathetically. Swarna continues, lamenting Ruhi’s refusal to listen and her unwavering faith in Armaan. Manish consoles her, reminding her that Abhira is by Armaan’s side, leaving Ruhi with no purpose there, except to endure a life filled with misunderstandings and false hope.
Meanwhile, Ruhi, lost in her thoughts of Armaan, weeps silently. Swarna expresses her worry about Ruhi’s unresponsiveness to calls and seeks Manish’s help to intervene. Determined, Manish decides that Ruhi must leave that toxic environment. He resolves to bring her back against her will, adamant that she cannot remain amidst the tumult between Abhira and Armaan.
On the other side, Armaan approaches Ruhi, acknowledging her knack for finding solutions. She expresses concern about Abhira’s intentions, fearing she might ruin everything. Armaan assures her of his awareness and proposes a plan to rekindle their parents’ love. Rejecting the idea, Ruhi suggests locking their parents in a room. Aryan and Kiara rush to Vidya, breathless, with news about Armaan. Alarmed, Vidya hurries to the scene, while Krish rushes to fetch Madhav.
Abhira strides in, firmly locking the door behind her. Vidya’s voice echoes through the door, pleading for it to be opened. Ruhi interjects, questioning the wisdom of their plan, knowing their parents won’t reconcile if they’re confined like this. Vidya demands an explanation from Abhira, urging her to unlock the door.
“I see you both fighting because of me,” Abhira explains solemnly. Vidya’s frustration boils over, “I can’t stand you!” Abhira counters gently, “But you love Armaan, don’t you? You’re sacrificing your relationship for us. How is this fair to you?” She continues, “Madhav has hurt both you and Armaan in the past; he should make amends.”
“You have no right to do this; your marriage is a sham,” Vidya retorts angrily. Abhira acknowledges, “Yes, it’s a farce. I’ll leave in three months. Why jeopardize your relationship for me? Please don’t be upset; your relationship has already paid a heavy price. Armaan and Rohit are your sons; I’m just an outsider. Don’t sacrifice your bond because of me.”
Ruhi and Armaan arrive, with Ruhi chastising Abhira for locking their parents. She demands the door be opened. Abhira stands her ground, asserting, “This is my room.” Vidya implores Ruhi to open the door, while Ruhi scolds the children for their part in the plan.
Abhira confesses, “They were unaware; these three didn’t know my intentions. I misled them.” She dismisses them, and as they leave, Armaan approaches Abhira, demanding the key, his frustration evident as he grabs her arm.
Madhav agrees with Abhira’s statement, suggesting that they consider it. Vidya, however, refuses, stating that she doesn’t want to think about it. Armaan attempts to retrieve a key, while Ruhi takes it from Abhira and unlocks a door. Vidya then exits the scene. Armaan apologizes, claiming he didn’t expect her to react this way.
Vidya retorts, questioning who this mysterious woman is and whether she plans to teach her how to maintain her marriage. Abhira remains visibly upset. Armaan defends Abhira, asserting that she wouldn’t act in such a manner. Ruhi offers to speak with Vidya. Abhira opens the door, casting a sarcastic remark at Ruhi.
