The episode begins with Kiara insisting that Abhira must return home. Charu questions if Abhira is willing to forgive Armaan. Aryan intervenes, advising Charu not to be negative, but Charu remains firm that Abhira doesn’t want to come back. Armaan arrives and urges them to go home, concerned for Abhira’s well-being. He playfully teases her about taking her medicine, which she finds bitter. Despite her protests, he persuades her to take it and even jokes about the taste. Their banter continues as she asks for jelly instead, and he insists she finish the medicine. Eventually, he feeds her the medicine, and though she initially reacts by hitting him, she eventually smiles as he hands her a tissue.
Meanwhile, Dadi expresses her happiness about Madhav and Vidya’s reunion and suggests that Sanjay and Kajal should feed the children at the orphanage. They agree and leave. Dadi then notices a family photo with Abhira in it and becomes upset. Feeling excluded from the picture, she reacts strongly, throwing the photo away and cleaning it when she sees dust on it. She laments that Abhira seems intent on taking away her family, but asserts that the family and the house will always be hers. In a moment of distress, she tears the photo.
Back at home, Abhira performs the aarti for Madhav and Vidya, welcoming them warmly. Dadi observes silently. Abhira insists on Vidya performing traditional rituals, urging her to kick over the kalash for good luck. Vidya hesitates, but eventually complies amidst applause. Meanwhile, Armaan mentions wanting to give a wedding gift, prompting playful banter among the family members. As they discuss, Armaan privately reflects on the significance of the date, remembering both his marriage with Abhira and the departure of Akshara. Abhira invites him inside, and he leaves the gathering with his thoughts lingering.
He changes and arrives. Madhav asks where Abhira is, and Armaan explains she’s at the temple for Akshara’s death anniversary. Abhira stands by Akshu and Abhinav’s names as her parents, overcome with emotion. When the pandit asks for Nana’s name, she tearfully signals no. Meanwhile, Manish’s car breaks down near the temple, and as he waits for his driver, the sound of the temple bell triggers memories of a call from Akshu a year ago, leaving him uncertain about her well-being.
At the temple, Abhira is asked by the pandit to distribute food, prompting Armaan to arrive and declare that Abhira isn’t alone; he considers her family. Together, they start distributing the food. Later, Manish inquires if he missed the recent puja, which was someone’s Barsi. He prays for the soul’s peace and expresses his wish to meet Akshu and her children. Ruhi arrives, and Armaan, acknowledging his mistakes, mentions that he knows Akshara won’t return regardless of his actions. He apologizes to Ruhi, understanding her feelings, and acknowledges that she was right in court.
Expressing her hurt, Ruhi tells him that her sorrow can’t diminish, and she’s decided to move on, even as she’s still grieving. Armaan and Abhira stay together, and she recalls Ruhi’s words, feeling grateful for all Armaan has done for her. As they discuss their contract marriage reaching its first anniversary, Abhira decides it’s time for her to leave. Shocked, Armaan asks why, reminding her that she forgave him. Abhira explains that Ruhi remains a significant presence in his life, making it hard for her to stay.
Armaan assures her that his connection with Ruhi is only due to their legal case, and once it’s resolved, everything between them will end. However, Abhira knows his guilt and reveals she already knew about Ruhi before Dadisa informed her. Their conversation is interrupted by Krish, who delivers a parcel containing papers. Both Armaan and Abhira realize that their marriage hasn’t legally ended, indicating they are still husband and wife.
